Eco-sustainable clothes

With a philosophy based on care, Bijondo was born from a strong love for the world and a spirit of discovery. However, we are aware that fashion is one of
more polluting and exploitative industries, and that our core values need to take a step forward. This is why we started our journey towards sustainability almost a year ago, and we are now very proud to present our first entirely sustainable collection: Bijondo Pure. With attention to the environment and to the people who make our clothes, Bijondo Pure si
approaches sustainability in fashion in a holistic way. This collection was created in collaboration with Saheli Women, a non-profit social atelier located in a small rural village in northwestern India. This textile workshop is committed to providing local women with the means to get out of difficult situations, teaching them marketable professional skills so that they can achieve their own economic independence. In addition to the commitment to
community, the Saheli Women are also committed to preserving Indian textile techniques that are part of the heritage. Local cultural, such as hand weaving, embroidery and dyeing crafts. For this capsule we have carefully selected the best Indian linen, organic cotton and silk. All the fabrics have been handcrafted on wooden looms and hand-dyed using Azo Free (low impact) dyes. The collection is 100%
plastic-free, as we have replaced the classic protective plastic bags with reusable cotton ones. The first Bijondo Pure capsule was designed to last a long time and never go out of style. Our goal is to help you create a meaningful relationship with your bosses.
